a new recipe

I created a new soup last night, inspired by my sis. It turns out to be quite nice and tasty. I boiled pork ribs with mushroom, red dates, gei zi, dried scallop and white pepper. Boil the pork ribs, mushroom and white pepper for an hour first, then only you put in the dried scallop (so it'll not all get melted by then) and boil for another 40 - 45 mins, lastly 30 mins before you turn off the fire, put in the gei zi, so that the soup will not turn soury (was taught by a friend, it works). Its quite nice, please try it and let me know your feedback!

Gals night out

Tonight we are having a gals night out, going to this new club at sunway called M.O.S. It's a brand new club opened early July, so we decided to check it out and have some fun... this will be a great start for the weekend after a whole week of hard work.

Another year wiser...

Happy 36th Birthday to Tzy Huey my sister! This year's birthday is a special one, as she has Wei, Ernie and Faith celebrating with her. I know she's happy 'bout it... and I'm happy for her too... I hope that her life ahead is a blissful one. God bless her!

Chyan & Choon Er's Wedding

I attended Chyan and Choon Er's wedding last week. Met some really old friends from high school that had lost contact since then, it was fun catching up! I was really surprised that most of them got married with kids, some is getting marry this year. This is so erm, what's that word, 'ridiculous'!!! hahahaha... and then me and mee yeow started this conversation like, people in malaysia has nothing better to do, and life is so bored that everyone is getting married so young and already had a kid or two. Sorry if I accused anyone... Though I realised that age is really catching up... face the fact!!! But of course, I'm still having a lot of fun before my wedding end of the year.... hahahaha... oh, I'm gonna really miss my single life!!! My girls night out.... my drinking sessions.... sigh sigh sigh!!!

Faith looks like Ernie when he was exactly the same age. Though she's much more tinier as my sis delivered 3 weeks earlier. My niece, Angelica Faith Yeong, a new member to my family was born on the 22nd of May, 2008, weighing 2.58kg. She has my sis's nose, lips and ears. Thank god, the delivery was super smooth.

Lily gave birth to a baby boy, weighing 2.93kg on the 25th of April, 2008. I'm very proud of her! I knew her since 1999 through a friend, we used to live together in Melbourne, her ex-bf was one of my very close friend. Back then, she was young and naive, see, now she's a mum! Time flies... this will be the beginning of a new chapter in her life... wish her luck!

Some Updates...

Oh... finally got the time to do some updates here. Have been so busy since I came back from Bangkok. The trip was ok... the weather was good... the food's excellent. Met up with some old friends from Poi Lam. Dinner and drinks... it was fun!

I'm tired of looking at the drawings... the 3ds... and stuff.... my shoulder is aching due to the long period of time sitting in front of the computer. Have been really busy with design since monday. I NEED A BREAK!!! Need some alchohol... hahaha...

Yeah, well... I just need to hang in there for a couple more weeks... do the presentation, site measurements and maybe a few more meetings with client and contractors... then I'll be free. Not planning to get any more jobs as I'll be away to Taiwan for a couple of months, maybe 3. Yes, I'm going to Taiwan, alone, to do some design research, travel... and also start writing my book. I've always wanted to publish my own book, being alone there is a very good time to do so.

A weird dream!

Last night I dreamt about my friend Lee Yee. We went shopping somewhere that I haven't been to, but its a very nice place. I remembered that she bought 5 expensive dresses in a branded shop, where everybody has to q to get into the shop. But the dresses were very nice and really looks good on her. At the shop, I bumped into 2 friends that I haven't met for years, Chin Siew and his sis Sun. Its such a weird dream!

Egete Done!

Finally finished with the 3D for Egete Boutique! Egete is my new project at 1 U shopping mall, when I first saw this word, I wondered how should we pronouce it. Is it E-gete, E-ge-te or E-ge-te. Then I realised its E-gete! Don's ask me what does it mean, I didn't bother to ask the owner anyway.

I still have another 2 projects in hand, only 50% done, so I guess this week will be busy for me, have to finish everything before I leave for Bangkok on Thursday. Looking forward to my Bangkok trip! :)

Move

SP says that my previous blog address is abit weird and way to long, that's why I decided to move to this new 'place'. Now I think this blog add is easier to remember!

Between, I just found out that I actually created a blog in 2004 with only 1 post entry. Hahaha... stated my trip to Singapore with Alan. How could that be?!!??!!?!? Hahaha... anyway, I've just deleted the blog. :P

Options Trading

Was talking about options trading over dinner last night. What are options? I finally found out 'An option is a contract that gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset at a specific price on or before a certain date. An option, just like a stock or bond, is a security. It is also a binding contract with strictly defined terms and properties.'

I've learnt to trade since going out with Alan, he's a home trader, he loves anything that relates to trading. His tons of trading books at home, the trading software that he bought that causes him a few thousand dollars and more. Hence he's never a 9-5 person, that's why he's finding his way out of all these routines. He once told me that his dream is to travel around the world with me, but he couldn't do that now. I appreciate his plans and efforts though. I have faith that he will be able to do it one day!

My First DAY!!

Sitting in front of the computer, with my coffee in hand, I really don't know what to type. This is my first day blogging! Although my best friend SP has been urging me to set up my own blog since x years back, till she has totally given up on me for doing so. Hahahaha... here you are dear! Finally... finally... welcome me to the blogging world. I'm not a blog person seriously, besides I don't really know how long will I maintain blogging, but I'm sure I'll get used to it pretty soon.

Today is a very hot day, plus the air-con in the damn old car I was driving wasn't really working very well. I kept sweating and swearing! When will I have my own car back!?!?!?!?!?!? I wish the insurance investigation will not take any longer, cos I really need my car back!
